When you give, you fuel local leaders who bring clean water, healthcare, and nutritious food to their own neighbors. With new skills and tools, they are the heroes of their own communities.
A true leg up, not a handout.

Nearly 5 million children die before their fifth birthday each year — the vast majority from four causes we already know how to prevent: dirty water, birth complications, pneumonia and malnutrition. Each of our four programs puts a local job against one of these "Core Four," because the fix already exists. It just needs someone to deliver it.
Together, we're tackling the "Core Four" reasons children die of preventable causes; delivered by people with real jobs, so it lasts.

She reaches mothers and babies within 24 hours of a fever. Where Community Health Workers like Lamba serve, child mortality can drop by 25%.

With irrigation and training, Joshua's yield jumped 400% in one harvest — enough to feed his children and sell surplus to 50 neighbors.

She builds affordable clean cookstoves. Less smoke in the home means fewer of the respiratory illnesses that kill young children.

GOOD QUESTIONS
We create jobs that help communities work their own way out of extreme poverty. Instead of handouts, you fund vetted local organizations who hire and train entrepreneurs — water well operators, community health workers, small-scale farmers, and clean-cookstove makers. Their work brings clean water, healthcare, food, and a cleaner climate to their neighbors. On average, each job helps 500 people locally.
Across seven countries: Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Uganda, Malawi, Rwanda, and Togo. The organization is headquartered in New York City and partners with proven local leaders in each region.
Every job is tracked from day one. We collect field data on services delivered — liters of clean water, health visits, harvests grown, and cookstoves sold — and report it back to you with the names and stories of the people doing the work. Our transparency is independently recognized: we're Charity Navigator Four-Star rated and hold Candid's Platinum Seal of Transparency.
