After 14 years of successful collaboration with KickStart International in Kenya, we’re excited to expand our partnership to Rwanda, bringing life-changing irrigation solutions to even more smallholder farmers.
The best way to feed people is to help local farmers grow more food. With your help, the average farmer feeds 50 people.
An irrigation pump allows farmers to grow and sell when they couldn’t before. They can also sell their crops at a higher price in the “dry” season when crops are scarce. This results in improved food and income sustainability throughout the year.
One irrigation pump can lift a farmer and his family out of poverty and into the middle class in as little as one harvest. On average, each farmer grows enough to sell produce to 50 community members and earns enough to send one child to school for the first time.
