Shawn Budde is a Principal at Ensemblex, LLC. Shawn is a 30 year veteran in financial services, with 10 years of applying machine learning algorithms in consumer lending. He has worked with a variety of lenders including a finance company, several banks, and as an independent consultant. Over more than eight years at Capital One, Shawn was responsible for the leadership of several diverse Capital One business units. Those roles included leadership of Capital One’s sub-prime credit card business; serving as President of the Westmoreland Agency subsidiary, and managing large operations responsible for marketing to new and existing customers. In his last role at Capital One, Shawn served as the company’s first chief customer officer. Shawn earned a B.A. from Columbia University in New York City and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
