Next Step: Create 300 jobs!

As the “job creating” partner, The Adventure Project is taking on the awesome challenge of raising $300,000 to cover the costs of recruiting, training, and kickstarting the stove production work for 300 stove artisans by March of 2024 and hiring and training 1,000 stove vendors (who sell the stoves in local markets).

If we can raise the full amount this holiday season, here's the impact you can help create in 2024:

750,000 families

Produce enough clean cookstoves to help 750,000 families in need per year: while creating 300 good jobs. In addition, at least 1,000 women will earn a commission as sales agents, selling stoves in local markets throughout Western Kenya.

$82M in annual savings

Save families living in extreme poverty $82 million USD annually ($110 per household). This is money families otherwise spend on charcoal or firewood to fuel inefficient open fires.

4.5M trees preserved

An astonishing 4.5 million trees can be spared from being cut down and consumed as fuel each year. On average, each stove saves 1 ton of black carbon from entering the atmosphere per year. It's a huge win for our climate (and women's health!).
